It'll happen sometimes when I try to use the bathroom, other times right after I have an orgasm, I'll get intense cramping through my entire pelvic floor, almost like menstrual cramps or how my abdomen feels when I've got bad diarrhea, just all the muscles spasming down there. It fortunately hasn't been lasting more than like ten minutes at most and I can just wait it out, unlike a lot of the neck or back spasms I get where I need to take a muscle relaxer, smoke a bunch of pot, take a hot shower, and just hope it doesn't last more than a day (I'll go to urgent care if it's like 2+ days of debilitating pain, but I'll try to get the muscles to relax without going in first.) Fibro is also really commonly comorbid with other health problems. For example, IBS. I get a lot of hemorrhoids cause my body often can't find a middle ground between constipation and diarrhea, and fibro has a way of finding just about any pain and making it way worse, so a hemorrhoid can feel kinda like getting torn in half from the asshole up. I've always found it weird how it can turn sensation off for me as well, tho. I'll get a gas bubble which has me doubled over with GI pain, but then go on to burn my thumb holding my lighter too long and not even notice till I see the blister. Fibro has gotta be about the weirdest disease out there.

Ugh I know this story. I’m at a point where my hips can’t be opened a second longer and I die forever in pain. Put half a bag of Epsom salt in a hot bath and try to be mindful of holding tension in that area while anxious or due to pain making you tense without knowing. I do a lot of accidental tensing throughout my pelvic floor and hips and butt. Body scanning is a helpful meditation technique with these issues. Raising your own awareness of where you’re clenching and releasing it with some cool visualization of like, having a healing white light warm the pain away. Sounds like nonsense, but a guided track is super peaceful!

My butt and my sides are my worst they are my worst sensitive points. And are pretty much in mild pain 24/7 and then god forbid i bump into a table or chair it's 0-100 real quick. I totally feel you!!!

Omg yes! I get but pain hurts bad. The pain feels so deep. Also hip pain burning sensations. Extremely painful on my periods. The pain is awful and just moves around everywhere or it’s just pain throughout my whole body. Very tiring. 😞

If you are having joint pain in your hip tailbone or between your joints please see a rheumatologist or continue to follow up with them. I believe fibromyalgia is a true illness but I also think it can be misdiagnosed instead of ankylosing spondylitis or a spondyloarthropathy. Just make sure everyone is keeping a journal of their symptoms! I have begun to do this not just for my disability case but for my doctors as well. I feel like even though we have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia a lot of times it is not exist alone and it’s important that we take notes 💕
