I'm having my first and only fibroid removed in a month. I'm having a kyleena IUD put in at the same time. I am worried that after the double procedure, I may not be able to tell which treatment is or is not working. What if kyleena actually makes my hormonal problems worse over time, and I can't tell because of the relief from menorrhagia I experience on removal of the cyst?

I'm 60 and at age 53 I went through menopause. Now I have a uterine fibroid and every month I feel like I still have the painful swollen breast and back pain and bloating. Does any one else experience this with uterine fibroid?

One user shared their experience with Kyleena, stating that it significantly reduced their endometriosis pain and bleeding. However, individual experiences may vary, and it's important to consult with your doctor about any concerns you have regarding the IUD and its potential effects on your hormonal balance after the fibroid removal procedure.
