What hobbies would you recommend that are fibro friendly, especially pain and brain fog? I want to start having fun again! I really like embroidery and reading, but both have become tricky, reading especially so.

@Belugabear I mave a lap desk with a cutting mat on it. I keep all of my notions within reach. I pin everything in batches so I don't actually spend very much time at my machine.

@bookbikecat omg I’m obsessed with them! I try to listen to one a week at least. Forgot to mention that!

I'm not a reader, I like crafts that are quick, although my favorite is wood crafting, like woodburning or woodcarving.

Word puzzles 🧩 stimulates your brain 🧠 and help stay focus. I also swim 🏊‍♀️ and do some baking, read.

@Elladolores any word puzzles you recommend? I really like that idea! Baking and reading are sadly pretty hard

@Belugabear any world puzzle I do the easy ones also normal puzzles they keep your mind working I would do a 25 piece. My mom used to do 10,000 pieces puzzles to cope with hers.

I'm listening to an audiobook rn. Mobile puzzle and word searches and even match 3 games are great for the fog

I have been sewing for decades. I find I can do many of the steps of making a quilt while sitting in my recliner.

@QueenofmyCastle that’s a great idea, I love seeing but never really thought about how I can do a lot of it in bed!

Maybe an instrument? I play guitar and ukulele, although sometimes the chords are tough on my fibromyalgia, I still like it!

@JaxIsLame I used to play, maybe I should start up again! Thanks!
