Fibro Fog in Hot Weather: Is it Common?

Does anyone else get fibro fog when it's hot out? I feel like I can't focus or function in the summer or in a hot kitchen- but I haven't seen anything about a possible relationship between the two after skimming through a dozen-ish articles. Is it something else? Or is this common?

Can you help? connect today

I have heat sensitivity, I have to keep my room very cold. Most people seem to be sensitive to cold with fibro but I'm the opposite, heat makes everything worse.

Yes thank you!! I legitimately don't think I have met anyone else like this. Everyone's "seasonal depression" happens in winter, but that's the only time I can think clearly. The heat makes me sick and tired, and confused

I think it’s common.. this was me last night in the kitchen.. I felt like I was lost or something.. I couldn’t remember exactly what I was cooking.. and then I messed up the steps to what I was cooking.. and I cook salmon all the time smh.. I kept feeling confused .. it’s starting to happen more often now than it use too

The worst thing is I work in kitchens so I'll mess up orders when it's busy... I space out or can't read or just go through motions without making sure everything is correct.

I have def noticed both a sensitivity to cold AND hot 🙃 winter is hard and summer is hard bit honestly summer is worse... I also have noticed that my panic and anxiety get worse in the heat or humidity

I have triggers for both heat and cold, and they worsen other conditions of mine, including fibro. I think the heat makes my cognition worse, and so does cold, but for different reasons.
