Fibro Flares and PMDD: A Never-Ending Cycle

Anybody else have fibro flares every month, twice a month? It's like my pmdd and fibromyalgia conspire together to create these monster typhoons in my body called ovulation and pms. Birth control just gave me a high blood pressure problem and no relief. Just turned into unpredictable chaos. As it is, I'm getting by with zoloft and cannabis but the cycle is never ending.

Feeling your pain! I also get fibro flares twice a month: when I ovulate and before a period. After many years, I now know that this is because high pollution levels push my hormones into megadrive, causing my tendons to relax too much which causes muscle pain. Strong painkillers take the edge off and prevent injury and I know that I'm in for a rough time as soon as I get to the eggwhite stage. If your pain is non specific then it's probably not the same, but if you feel acute muscle pain then you might want to try finding a really good physio - mine is invaluable for helping me manage the stress on my joints and minimising the muscle pain as much as possible.
