I’ve been in a lot of pain recently due to a fibro flare and now I’ve come on my period and I’m struggling to do anything, anyone got any tips to manage the pain?

This sounds like it couldn’t possibly work but it helped me so maybe worth a try when I was in a flare my physical therapist had me lie on the floor and do very slow small movements while taking deep breaths move your arms and legs (separately) like you’re making a snow angel. Bend your knees with your feet on the floor and slowly windshield wiper your knees side to side. Slowly turn your head side to side. You can add things that feel good but the point is small and simple movements and deep breathing. It’s supposed to help calm the nervous system and get some of those feel good chemicals that help your body relieve pain

Fibromites be wary of TENS machines. They CAN make shit worse for fibromyalgia. Just go slowly if you decide to try

Tens machine, hot bath, sodium naproxen (basically aleve) if you can’t safely get anything stronger.

Cannabis and a hot tub works in tune with opioids to keep me on the planet

My TENS machine helps me plus heat packs and distractions. I usually rewatch a comfort show (the funnier, the better). Sending spoons <3

Heat usually helps me. A hot bath with Dr Teal's salts tends to help me...

Village Naturals Therapy Chronic Pain & Fatigue products, muscle relaxers, as much heat as you can tolerate, magnesium lotion. I’m going through the same thing. Long term it’s birth control that will allow you to skip or reduce your periods
