Fibro/CFS sufferers, I’ve noticed something and have started to think I’m crazier than I already think… When y’all are in flareup are you less, I don’t know aware of the fatigue? Like it feels like the pain gives me some adrenaline or something and I’m still flat ass exhausted but I don’t notice the fatigue like I do at other times. When I’m in just, we’ll say the normal amount of pain, the fatigue itself is so intense that it actually feels painful. Reading that back sounds crazy but I swear… This just me?

Thanks. So many of the feelings- physical, emotional and mental- that come with this are foreign to others and difficult to explain. And when no one understands, I question my own sanity

I can totally relate to this. Same. I cannot believe how insufferable the pain is most days.

Pain causes adrenaline to spike. So it’s actually normal for you to have more energy when your pain is worse.
