I’m having a really hard time right now. I feel like I’m trapped in my house and in my town. I just really don’t like being in the same house in the same small house all the time. It feels so isolating. I don’t know what to do

Reaching out is a good start 💕. I can get to feeling the same way. I'd be much worse than I am if I didn't see my church family every week. It's not enough, but it definately helps. You could see about finding a nearby church, or something that meets weekly (even if it's bingo lol), or even visit an old folks home. Isolation is hard. Finding others who feel isolated, and sharing time with them, can be incredibly rewarding for both of you.

I also have felt the same way. I'm a college student and since I've been so sick I was not able to work this summer so I have pretty much just been trapped in my house all day. Some things that have helped me have been a took up knitting and crocheting, finding any low energy skill you can learn, I found super helpful and it's giving me a lot more purpose. I also got a hammock and I will just go to a park that is a few seconds walk away from my place. It has been a super chill way to get myself outside even if I'm just sitting on my phone I find it better to be doing that outside. Also, if you want a friend and support I am here for you. Would love to chat! Good luck and I hope you feel better!

Try to find small things to do outside your house. Things you can go while sitting. Maybe a rollator or wheelchair would be a good option for you. But going on small walks, see if there are bus routes near you to explore the city. Maybe see if you can find a good trivia group/ other activity to go weekly so you have something to look forward to. Hope this helps.

You could also try picking up a new hobby like painting, writing, or reading. Being creative and spending time outside can make you feel more fulfilled.
