Feeling the Swallow: Is it Normal?

Yes. I can tell you exactly what path my food takes from mouth to anus. it hurts the whole time and the sensation is especially strong if I drink something really hot or really cold. I thought it was normal when I was a kid, as well as hearing your own digestion, breathing, heartbeat, etc. Nope, my mom is just what we affectionately call "defective" lol

Yes it slowly goes down and the sensation stops about where I assume my stomach begins

I can feel m my food or drink go all the way from my mouth to my stomach, especially if it’s particularly hot or cold

My mom-mom and uncle had there's stretched

That happened to me I had to get my esophagus stretched because it swelled to a baby size. I would highly suggest telling you doctor. They will probably do a endoscopy with intent to stretch. It doesn’t hurt at all they just use a balloon so it’s very gentle.

My heartburn gets so bad when I don't eat the right foods
