Feeling the Swallow: Is it Normal?

Dude I feel like I can feel when it goes into my stomach and it’s really uncomfortable

Yes. I can tell you exactly what path my food takes from mouth to anus. it hurts the whole time and the sensation is especially strong if I drink something really hot or really cold. I thought it was normal when I was a kid, as well as hearing your own digestion, breathing, heartbeat, etc. Nope, my mom is just what we affectionately call "defective" lol

Yess that’s what I’ve been experiencing it’s so weird I have an endoscopy scheduled for Monday .. what have you been doing about it?

Yes it slowly goes down and the sensation stops about where I assume my stomach begins

I can feel m my food or drink go all the way from my mouth to my stomach, especially if it’s particularly hot or cold

When you say 'feel' what do you mean exactly? I sometimes swear I feel my food or drink hit my stomach instantly! 😥 sorry if that's not what you meant
