Feeling Pressured to Leave the House More

Do I really have to leave the house more? I go out a 1-2 times a week to shop and maybe once a month I go for a short road trip to visit family. I'm fine with that but feel pressured to do more. My psych doc says do more but I'm literally fine with just being home.

If you're happy with where you're at, that's all that matter

I have the same issue.. I would rather just be home in my comfort zone and stay to myself.. I don't need people to make me happy or content.. I find things to do that help me .. I have a hard time with crowds and strangers and my therapist wants me to do exposer therapy and it doesn't always go so good.. but for the first time in over a year I went to a little gas station store by myself.. I was sweating and panicking the whole time but I forced myself to do it... You do what makes you comfortable and you know how far you can push yourself no one else does.. I am proud of you for the times you do try and get outta your home 🏠 keep up the good work

Thanks. Going out as often as I do is me trying. I would rather not leave the house at all but part of me does want to do things, I'm just so anxious. I had convinced myself that I hate people but I think it's more that I have trust issues and am afraid. I miss being able to go out and work.

Some people thrive better as introverts, myself included. Listen to them to an extent, but also live you YOU are most comfortable because no tan people are the same. I go shopping 1-2 times a week, aside from that I go out a lot at night because there’s less people out, sometimes just walk in nature or write… Find your best life and live it 💜
