I have been feeling out of touch with reality. when people talk to me I feel like I am not hearing them. eventhough I can hear them perfectly fine. has anybody else felt like that l? how did you get back in touch with reality again?

      Any type of grounding exercise is really good for this as it sounds like you’re experiencing dissociation. using your senses to bring you back into your physical body and location is very helpful although these skills do take time and practice to become effective,

      I feel that way a lot but normally when I talk too someone especially someone I really trust I feel more grounded but sitting down and doing some breathing exercises help too.

      I've had this happen many times. Meds have helped, and routines that help my anxiety

        @cozybunbun ironically meds is what caused it LOL. I think it might be withdrawals from getting off of everything.

          @tig21 meds can definitely cause that too, some of the dosage adjustments I've had have made me feel really out of it. Going off probably can too, be careful and make sure to let your doctor know about the side effects
