Feeling Misunderstood: Struggling with a Possible Bipolar Diagnosis

Do you ever have that feeling where you know you have a certain diagnosis but others don't think you do or it feels implied by a therapist or doctor you're seeing? I feel that way about bipolar because I know I have all the symptoms.

Hi, have you been to a specialist psychiatrist? Maybe you haven't been to the right doctor to diagnose the disease you are suffering from. It should also be noticed that in the definitions of each disease there is a duration of time and intensity of symptoms in order to decide, so it may be that this is why the doctors did not diagnose you, simply because you did not suffer the symptoms for long enough or with a strong enough intensity. I suggest you see a psychiatrist again for an examination.
