Hey. A few years ago I was at a very vulnerable stage, causing harm to myself and thinking not very nice things as a desperate attempt to escape my life...but one day I decided to take back my life and moved out and away, got a new job, got a couple of supportive friends, decided to use my experiences to help others. I did also take medications and go to therapy in conjunction to help boost my mood. But see now, I don't need that anymore, I can self regulate. In other words, yes it takes a lot of hard work but yes it will be better, just keep fighting
Yes. I didn’t used to believe it because I was so depressed and anxious and my life was hell for 2+ years before I got help. I still have hard days or hard weeks and things trigger me, but I can also experience hope and cheerfulness like I wasn’t able to before. It’s possible that it will never go away completely. I think some of it is a natural part of our human existence, but it does become more bearable, I promise. ❤️
