Feeling Light Headed and Chest Sinking - Anxiety Symptoms?

Has anyone felt light headed and feel like your chest is sinking and sort of feel like falling? I feel better once laying down but as soon as i sit up form laying down , my heart starts racing until it goes back to normal. i also have felt numbness on my upper lip when this happens as i worry it gets worse. i have also been tasting foods a little differently than before. This started 3 days ago. I’m not taking any medication. I do smoke weed but i haven’t ever since i’ve felt like this. I get this feeling of anxiety and I just want to start crying because i feel scared. The first day was the worst , it has progressively gotten better.

I forgot to mention that my hands sweat without doing anything for example when i’m laying down. I feel cold but hot at the same time but not very much.

Yes I’ve felt the whole light head thing and felt like falling. I’m going to keep this really short and simple, my anxiety is terrible I have it all day everyday. I have learned to cope a little better since it started, but before it was ruling my life. Sometimes it feels like my anxiety is the size of a planet. But the only advice I’m going to give you is go get checked out by a doctor, as soon as my anxiety got bad I started feeling lightheaded and heart palpitations I eventually went to my physician and she did blood work and came back and reassured me I was okay. And there is absolutely nothing more reassuring then someone who is a doctor telling you you are okay. I suggest you do the same just to make sure everything is okay. It sounds to me like it’s just anxiety and you’re thinking about it a little too much. Our minds are very very very powerful and when you think something is wrong with you our brain thinks the same and the way the brain reacts to that feeling just makes it worse

Thank you very much, i feel better after what you told me. I just worry it’s something severe other than anxiety and it fuels the feeling even more.

Yep! Sounds similar to my POTS! Mine is autoimmune but POTS can be caused by anxiety, stress, viruses, etc.
