Feeling Horrible and Disconnected: Need Advice

I’ve been feeling horrible all day.. Again, but just recently, am feeling some psychological problems. It feels like derealization/depersonalization, I feel really out of it, and my head feels heavy and dizzy, but, something that I’m worried about right now, is, my family made dinner, and I got. Everything either tastes bad or barely has a taste. I poured some salt into my hand, and I could BARELY taste it, but the flavor I could sense was sweet, rather than salty.

@LilyLou Oh, wow. That’s weird, because I’ve been having a lot of sinus issues, and even got a prescription of Amoxicillin from the doctor, but it’s only been making my symptoms worse.

You can be negative this am but positive this afternoon. If you have any other omicron symptoms I'd certainly get tested elsewhere. We all are just getting over covid in this house. My daughter lost her taste but none of the rest of us did. It was more or less like a sinus infection for all of us

Your best bet is probably to go to a doctor then if still hasn't gone away in a few days, until then try to rest as much as you can and drink a lot of water

@dogdad13 Yeah, as soon as I had these symptoms, we went to go get an at-home covid test. It was negative. I have no idea what could be causing this. 😬

Have you gotten tested for covid? Loss of taste is one of the symptoms, and the other symptoms could be a result of exhaustion from the illness. If you test negative I'd really recommend seeing a doctor
