Feeling Drained After Socializing? Here's Why

Does anybody get physically wiped out from being social with a lot of people or even small crowd . I do and hate it don’t how to lessen the effects of this .

There’s a mental exercise like grounding, but it’s called veiling. It’s imagining a veil between you and other people, a separation, a barrier between their energy and yours. I wouldn’t recommend it without practice, as it does take focus and practice to get it to work the way we want. Conceptually it is separating self from the others. But not because you’re better or anything- just because you’re sensitive and need space. I find this practice really soothing for before I go to the grocery store or god forbid, the airport! 😫😅

Yes I get completely overwhelmed and physically drained from spending time with other people. I end up withdrawing from the situation and taking a nap.
