what do you all do when you’re depressed, especially like positive things? i’m feeling pretty depressed right now, like for basically no reason, and i’m at school, so that’s a problem. it’s like my mind wants me to stay depressed, maybe even to get more upset. i just feel so stuck. and i don’t think i can go home early. i feel very antisocial and stuff too. i don’t know what to do. logically especially, i would love to feel fine, even happy right now. i don’t even have any real reasons to be depressed specifically right now, at least i don’t think there’s anything specific that’s really the cause of my depression right now. i almost wish i was having a fucking panic attack because then i would at least kinda know what to do (take my panic med)… i’m not feeling like i wanna self-harm or anything, i’m not even really having much negative self-talk or anything, my thoughts are kinda sparse and it’s mostly just basically things like “i feel bad why do i feel bad” etc. over and over again. i just wanna go home.

      Those are the worst days for sure, when you feel bad but you don't know why, so you feel worse for feeling bad. It's definitely normal, though, when you have a depression diagnosis. When I feel like that, I try to remind myself that my feelings don't have to make sense in order to be valid. I do the bare minimum, when I can, to make it through the day, and plan something relaxing for myself to end the day (I usually make tea and read). Sending care and support 💕
