Yes. I'm a 29 year old woman and my dad gets paid by Medicaid to take care of me. 🙄 He knows more about my bodily issues and problems 👩‍🦽 than my doctor does half the time. 🤦‍♀️ I feel like crawling under a rock and never leaving or letting anybody else in. 😥

I have been told by someone that I may be bipolar. I put myself in their shoes and understand. Truth is I have 2 speeds. I am full on or simply out of spoons and off. I need to pace better.

I feel guilty for running out of spoons so early in the day. If i use my energy to do laundry or dishes or something, that’s it for the whole day. And i feel like it makes me seem like i have a bipolar disorder

Yes. Especially cause it’s so hard to clean up after myself sometimes.

Yes, I also feel very frustrated that I need to rely on others for help when I was basically an independent person

Yes. Yes. Yes. But seriously, it’s not like we chose this illness. And if you had your full health and someone else had fibromyalgia, you would never want them to feel embarrassment or shame, etc. So give yourself some grace. Our society values performers and that’s not a good thing. Our value is not because of what we do, but because we are made in God’s image.
