Feeling Alone and Isolated Due to Unique Trauma

Apologies and I hope this isn't triggering to anyone, does anybody else struggle with feeling alone and isolated due to not having met anyone else with your specific type of trauma? I was trafficked into sex work as a child, I got away from it at 24 when my child was born (I'm 30 now), and I often feel so disgusted with myself for missing certain parts of my old life because at least I was surrounded by people who understood and could relate to my experiences.
