Living with Sickle Cell Anemia: Seeking Advice

I feel like this health condition has taken so much of my life away from me. I want to be able to live more of the life I always wanted by truly living instead of just existing and letting Sickle Cell Anemia win. Any suggestions on things I can do to get there?
