Fear of Dying and Change

Does anyone have constant nagging fear of dying or things changing that it’s hard to really focus on the joy of here and now?

❤️thank you. I should try that…. I watch tv and usually something to scare me so I forget but then it makes me think of it again. I’ve tried talking about it but it doesn’t really help

Its at a constant for me. Either Im scared over my health issues that could kill me, my OCD is forcing me to ruminate about these things, and my psychosis revolves around me dying. Im so sick if it and its still really hard to live in my life even with insight. It makes you feel really alone and overly stressed. Journaling seems to be the only thing that helps me stay grounded. How have you tried to cope with this? Im so sorry you also deal with this no one deserves this. Youre not alone.

AJK2000 - I totally get you, it’s bad. I will have these invasive and nagging thoughts that distract me so much that I miss the moments I obsess over missing. Thank you for sharing and I am sorry you are tormented as well.

Every day, it’s exhausting. I really can’t deal with change and the thought of anything even slightly changing terrifies me. So a lot of times I decide not to do things that may benefit me, because they will also change things. It makes it really hard to live in the moment and experience joy about just living
