My dad got a new job that pays well, He works out of town, it's basically across state even though we live in a big state because it's four hours away. He's moving to a beach town that's known for its beautiful beaches and beautiful town. It's also more expensive so its well kept. I live in a small town off of a major city and next to a beach although our beaches here aren't very good, they're nasty and I wouldn't dare swim in them. It's a nice small town but not much to do other than go grocery shopping or to a really expensive boardwalk which I'll probably visit this summer too. When I go visit my dad, I'll be driving 4 hours to get there, then when I'm staying there I'll have no privacy since he lives in an rv and I have two sisters and a nephew so we'll share a space. We'll be going out in public to beaches and restaurants and events and I don't know how I'll be able to keep up. I'm excited for this summer but I also am nervous that I won't be able to have enough energy to do everything I want to do. I run out of energy pretty fast. I'm afraid I won't even have enough energy to shower at times because of how overwhelmed I'll be. Also since it's summer, I'll be shaving frequently and that's something that takes a lot of energy since I have a lot of anxiety in the shower and the longer I'm in there, the worse it gets. This isn't the first time or even the second my dad worked out of town so I've done a 2 hour drive to visit him and sleep in the rv with my sisters but not my nephew he wasn't born yet. I would wake up every day and we would do something in public and I would be drained on the second day but I would push through until the visit was over since I still wanted to do the fun things, I just didn't have the energy to fully enjoy it. When he lived in a studio apartment it was better since it was a bigger space and you could shower in the apartment without feeling rushed or cramped. But he's not getting one this time to save money. That's okay but it will take more energy from me to actively participate in things. Any tips that I can do to be able to do the things I want when I don't have the energy to? Most days just getting ready for the day takes everything out of me so I'm hoping yall will provide me with some good tips! Also I don't drink anything with caffeine, it gives me anxiety but if you know something I don't I'm willing to try.
