Dealing with Family Who Don't Believe My Diagnosis

I can't convince my family that I have these things even though I've been diagnosed. How do you deal with that? any advice?

Punch them in the face! .... with words?... 🤷‍♀️😬 I'm sorry you are dealing woth that. That is terrible. It makes me really upset when invisible disabilituez doesn't get the same recognition that visible ones do. And when awesome people don't get the support they need. ☹ I'm sorry. 😞

You could have a sort of group session with your parents and doctor(s)

My family is pretty terrible with this as well until they physically see the medication I take for it. I know that’s probably not helpful but you aren’t the only one being gaslit at least lol.

I have only a few of my family members that I tell. Some know I take meds and I'm in therapy, some think I'm just this normal person. I just don't feel comfortable letting some of them know, and it's my info not theirs 🤷🏻‍♀️
