I find that soft noise helps me. I can’t remember a time that I have trouble sleeping while also playing this playlist called Floating Through Space on spotify. Also, stretching makes my bed soooooooo comfortable, I highly recommend stretches before you lay down or try to sleep if you’re capable of it.

No sleep medication works for me, even melatonin supplements make me groggy the next day. To calm my mind I do at least a full page of stream of consciousness journaling and then to calm my body I do 4-7-8 breaths with the tip of my tongue against my upper gum line. I don't remember why it works but there's some scientific reason and it conks me out every time

Non addictive sleep meddinces. Start and have a nightly routine. Turn on quiet white noise or meditation music. Make youself keep your eyes closed even if your just fat dreaming. Think hopefully and peacefully
