I faint/pass out when my blood is drawn. Even when I don't look! Luckily I didn't yesterday but I came really close. Does anyone else have the same experience?

It always happens to me. It's come to a point to where I need to be knocked out as it's easier on my body then me passing out. Though I have a very horrible needle phobia.

Yes, always. Since I know this about myself, I am honest and tell them if you need labs, I NEED TO BE LAYING DOWN, otherwise I WILL PASS OUT. I always lay down and then they draw blood. Much better situation all together ❤️

I nearly did once. My vision steadily got darker and darker until I couldn't see anymore and the nurse got me some water and helped me relax.

I've come close many times. Only once has a lab tech reminded me to breathe. I guess I hold my breath when it happens but never noticed? Maybe you're holding your breath without noticing? I have to focus on something in the room and manually think about breathing in and out

Yes! I hate when it happens too!
