Need Help with Extreme Weight Gain

I have been experiencing extreme weight gain I'm trying to eat more protein such as grilled chicken, shrimp, and lots of veggies. Also I'm drinking lots of water I'm trying to drink 80-100oz a day but no matter what I've gained weight in 2 months somehow I've gained 20 pounds I can't do hard exercises due to my heart but I still do walks and some outside activities I'm at a loss of what to do because no matter what I keep gaining weight please help

It could be water weight if drinking more than normal which isn’t a bad thing, also eating a lot of protein when ur not exercising it off would add weight, it’s all about calories in vs calories out as long as you consume more than you lose you’ll gain weight and to lose weight you have to burn more than you eat, even if it’s healthy the more calories the more weight you’ll gain which isn’t necessarily bad I don’t know your situation but exercise is the only way to lose weight which is tough I know, my medical condition means I’m not allowed to exercise doctors orders and have gained insane weight from my illness with major stretch marks and I feel so so horrible about it and can’t do anything about it
