Dealing with Extreme Nausea and No Diagnosis

I’ve had extreme nausea for the past few weeks. Literally every single thing I eat I either get sharp pains in my stomach, I throw up, or just really bad nausea and dizziness. The doctors are thinking I just had some type of stomach virus and that it went off and had a mind of its own a made itself worse or they have a couple of other ideas what it could be but no real diagnosis yet. I’m off gluten and dairy to try and help cause those can trigger or worse but it’s still bad even with basic foods. I have been really stressed and anxious to the point where my hair has been falling out so I feel like it’s related to that but it’s just really frustrating not being able to ever eat and be comfortable. I guess on the plus side I’ve lost 15 lbs but this isn’t the best way to do it.

I'm so sorry you're going through this! It's so frustrating being uncomfortable no matter what you try to eat! I hope you find some answers or relief soon!! I've been dealing with nausea/feeling like throwing up any time I eat for the past 18 months and my docs are finally starting to run tests to figure out what's going on.

it sucks when the doctors can’t figure it out or in my case too I hate needles and stuff so I’m worried about the tests but I’m gonna try and push through cause I do want to know. I think they’ll do some food/allergy tests. I hope you get answers!
