What addition diagnoses should I explore since I have an EDS diagnosis? I still have some unsolved issues so I’m trying to find avenues to explore

@OdeToANightingale chiari is also associated with obstructive sleep apnea. I went to a neurologist first for the migraine. They thought I had a brain tumor. They didn't find one, said I had pseudo tumor cerebri and chiari then sent me for a sleep study and low and behold, I have sleep apnea. The surprising symptom of chiari I just found out about was hoarse voice. At times I sound like Marge Simpson, but I assumed it was my smoking. Well, now I know.

Chiari brain malformation is a lesser known condition that commonly occurs with EDS. Chiari can cause many symptoms including headaches and migraines, nausea, numbness and tingling in extremeties, dizziness and coordination problems, vision and hearing problems, autonomic nervous system dysfunction, mood swings, neck and shoulder pain, trouble swallowing, and nerve pain- among other symptoms.

It depends on your symptoms. Common comorbities are Dysautonomia, POTS, gastroparesis, MCAS, autoimmune dysfunctions, and hormone imbalance.

it depends on your symptoms mostly. I will say fibromyalgia and POTS or other types of dysautonomia are VERY common comorbidities of EDS
