I have acid reflux and I experience similar symptoms. I think I have something called gastrocardiac syndrome, but I haven't had a formal diagnosis yet

Yes. I ended up in ED twice with similar chest/ lung/ heart pain and pressure, eventually determined to be GERD related... a spasm of some sort. But best to get it checked.

Some individuals with GERD have reported experiencing chest pains, a feeling of something stuck in the throat, and sensations similar to heart palpitations. One person mentioned having Esophageal Spasms due to GERD, which can cause a tight chest, shortness of breath, and intense pain. Another individual described having acid reflux without heartburn initially, but later developed heartburn as the condition worsened. However, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis.
