Experiencing Brain Fog - Is it Normal?

Does anyone else experience brain fog as a symptom? Feeling very weird today in the head and can hardly remember things I did or said today aswell as being in the moment currently. Might just be bad fatigue but looked it up and said brain fog can be a symptom. Wondering if this is normal or if I should inform my doctor.

Can you help? Connect today

I personally experience brain fog often. That is a relatively common symptom with Endo. Endometriosis has such a large variety of symptoms that affect your entire body. It is "normal" for our circumstances, but you could always mention it to your doctor if it worries you.

definitely going to mention it to my doctor, i’ve never felt that fuzzy in the head before. having endo amazes me everyday with all the weird obscure symptoms that randomly appear.

I experience brain fog having Endo and Fibro. It’s a very weird feeling. It’s definitely not just fatigue for me, I experience both symptoms. I would let them know ♡︎

I’ve experienced the brain fog but normally feel it when I ate something that endo doesnt “like” or when my period is coming on, I would suggest logging your foods and seeing if there is a pattern. When I got diagnosed, I could no longer consumer dairy, chocolate, gluten, or caffeine without feeling badly. Without them I was much more functional. Also certain teas made me feel that way if it had Licorice root or other herbs that didn’t play well with endometriosis so be mindful of certain herbal teas/supplements as well. Yoni steams also helped a ton. I hope that you feel better soon.

it’s odd because i hardly ate the other day, i’ve been trying to lose some weight and the only “unhealthy” thing i had yesterday was some milk chocolate. i was standing and moving a lot that morning so i’m thinking maybe just being on my feet for too long messed with my head. but thank you so much for your feedback, i will definitely look into taking supplements for my vitamins and ask my doctor for advice for which ones i should be taking. the yoni steams sound so relaxing, i’ve been doing epson salt baths and they help with my body aches but make my head feel fuzzy… just a learning process i suppose. and thank you so much!

Definitely tell your doctor about any new symptoms, but I get really bad brain fog too. I’m not sure if it’s from the endo or one of my other illnesses or medications, but it is definitely normal for endo patients!
