What are your experiences with Adderall? Have you ever had a long period where you didn't use it and then started again?

I haven’t had any problems with adderall but I’ve been taking it for years so I may be used to the side effects. I know when I first started taking it, I had dry mouth but that pretty much was it. One of my friends had to be pulled off of it though due to losing so much weight from a loss of appetite. I truly think some people aren’t affected (like me) and others experience a lot of side effects which can be detrimental. There’s no way to know why that is!

Adderall is highly addictive and has more intense side effects such as appetite loss and aggression or loss of patience. I personally use vyvance, which works more with neurotransmitter homeostasis rather than just a stimulant. It’s less addicting as well, and my psychiatrist told me in combination of other antipsychotics it’s less intense on my system.
