Exercising with hEDS: Tips and Suggestions

I have struggled to find ways to exercise that don’t cause me pain afterwards because of my hEDS. Even yoga causes pain! What are some suggestions to still be active?

i've heard swimming is really good for EDS! the dr i see for pain management is an EDS specialist & has it herself; she told me that low impact is the way to go. Swimming is one of the lowest impact exercises there is so if you have access to a pool/body of water that's safe to swim in & you're able i'd give it a try :)

Maybe simple stretching being sure to not overextend? I personally do Pilates for my hEDS to strength my muscles to stabilise my joints.
