Does anyone else sweat excessively on lexapro? I've had hyperhydrosis issues before without meds but now I sweat all over and it's kind've embarrassing. šŸ˜…

Iā€™m on an excessive bladder pill called Oxybuten that has a very common side affect of not making me sweat. This is the only reason Iā€™m on it. It seems to help.

But I definitely get what you mean. I feel so embarrassed when we're going grocery shopping, and my friend is just fine, and I'm just about pouring with sweat by the time we get to the checkout line. It can be very embarrassing.

I have sort of always been someone who easily sweats, and who sweats excessively. I haven't really noticed an increase in the few months since I started taking Lexapro, but honestly with the magic combination of being overweight, tending to sweat a lot anyway, and living in the South US, I'm not completely sure if I would even notice if I started sweating even more. Honestly, I just bumped up to a clinical strength antiperspirant, and do my best to shower regularly and make sure I use plenty of it.
