So, I have not been diagnosed with "hyperhydrosis", but my (conditon) affects mainly only my hands and feet very sweaty, alot of the time, summer or winter it doesn't matter. Obviously, it is worse in the summer and, acts up more if I know I have to shake hands in any instances. Also, acts up more obviously, if I am nervous. Anyone have anything similar?

Yes, I have had this since childhood. Severe sweating to hands and feet. My armpits joined in the madness in my early adulthood. It's a condition that causes inconvenience by affecting my life and also becomes a hazard such as cutting my hand on a sliding glass cabinet while opening, in my case. I've tried many things from Drysol to iontophoresis machine to oral medication. I stayed away from Botox though. I don't like the idea of getting poked routinely with toxins all my life. Anyway, in my case it's genetic on my mom's side but I only have seen my cousin suffer with it.

@Skc thank you! Did you happen to find out what the cause of it is? To my knowledge, no one in my family has this.

@Bryn9610 from my understanding it’s usually genetic (my mom also has it, more mild than mine is tho). but can be caused from medical conditions like diabetes

Yes all my life! It’s horribly uncomfortable & acts up with my anxiety. My hands know I’m anxious before I do lol
