ER Visit for Anxiety: Anyone Else?

Has anyone else been to the ER just to find out it’s anxiety?

Not quite, but I missed so much school for severe stomach pain and nausea. Turns out my Chem teacher just triggered the shit out of my anxiety and when I had to go to school my body would try to kill me so I didn't have to go. Somatization disorder woohoo!

Yes, but they were wrong every time. It can suck to be told this. I have somatization disorder but it took several years to get diagnosed with POTS. I no longer trust the ER as much

Yes, this happened on several occasions for me in 2021. Got loads of tests done and all came back perfect and they said i was in the best health i could be in even though i felt the opposite. That’s when i got tested for anxiety and then i got medicine for it and it has helped tremendously. you are not alone, it’s happened to me lots of times.
