Is there any better way to treat epilepsy, mine is stress induced… and all anyone has told me is to “ calm down “… I try and try, and my meds barely work.

I see you're on Keppra, Keppra didn't work at all for me and it didn't work for my aunt. Have your considered maybe it's your medication?

What kinds of things have you tried to do to alleviate stress so far?

@LCM yoga… Reading… Art anything to just “relax”. None of it is working and my epilepsy is still acting up. And like I said my medicine is only working so much, and on top of that it gives me a really bad reaction. Makes me dizzy it makes me feel like I’m going to throw up all day, and it makes me really tired.

@Littlesixxgirl I’m so sorry your meds aren’t helping as much as they should! I assume you’ve already discussed that with your doctor? Stress can also bring on my seizures and it’s so hard to keep the anxiety and stress at bay. I’ve found that the Calm app is really relaxing for me. You might also try some more movement or stretching. Tea, healthy foods, less caffeine/alcohol are all potentially helpful too.
