Birth Control Options for Females with Epilepsy

what do you other females with epilepsy use as birth control? I know my pills affect my hormones which can cause my seizures. What else do you use?

I'm also not on birth control yet, but when I brought it up with my neurologist, an IUD was brought up. For most IUDs the hormones stay in the uterus, or the copper one is hormone free, and I'm considering that one
