Possible Side Effects of Endoscopy: A Warning

Just a heads-up to everyone- If you have gotten or will get an endoscopy done, make sure you read the possible side effects. I recently had an endoscopy done the other day and went to the ER within 24-48 hours afterwards to find out that I have pneumonia which can be one of the side effects. Make sure to go to the ER right away if you experience any chest pain, shortness of breath, coughing, vomiting, etc. pneumonia can turn into sepsis if not treated right away which is very serious because it gets in your bloodstream and you could possibly be admitted to the hospital like I am right now also being checked for sepsis. I hope you all have a better experience with your endoscopy than I did.
