Dealing with Endometriosis Pain After Surgery

So I got diagnosed with endometriosis back in 2016. It was pretty bad. Had surgery to have a cyst removed. It was a pretty large cyst. They had to remove part of my abdominal muscle to get the entire cyst out. Now I am having alot of pain in the same area. I was wondering if anyone had this happen to them? Has your cysts return and a bit more painful as the first time around?

I was diagnosed with endo in October last year. I was too having a cyst removed I don't believe they had to remove anything else but yes I have very bad pain on that same side. Usually when I'm ovulating it got so bad I went back to my doctor and they then talked me into getting on birth control, it seems to be helping me. Haven't had nearly as much pain.

I'm sorry! I agree the wait time to see doctors is insane! I put in to see a Endo specialist and it was 3 months out.

I was diagnosed in 2019. I had excision surgery in 2020. The primary point of pain for ended up being endo on my bladder. About two years after surgery I’ve been getting pain in that same spot. The pain isn’t radiating through my abdomen like before, but the point of pain is exactly the same spot. I wonder if it’s scar tissue or if susceptible to regrowing endo tissue. Sounds like a similar experience.

Ugh. It won't let me copy paste, but the end of my long story was me telling them what changed my life and now I'm virtually pain free naturally!! I was given this article which I just followed the main things and found results! https://www.thefurtherist.com/self-care/how-i-got-rid-of-an-ovarian-cyst-in-3-months
