I have been in tears not knowing what to do. I was diagnosed with endometriosis 4 years ago. And now have very painful periods again. Not that the prior surgery helped any. He removed my ovary and some fibroids. Now there are 3 fibroids. They are talking hysterectomy. But I have heard also that this does nothing for endometriosis. I am at a total loss. And don’t know what to do. Any thoughts? Experiences?

I had a hysterectomy in 4/2021 and my ovaries were left. I had occurrence of pain within 3 months after surgery, so that part was disappointment, but it’s so great not to have to deal with a bloody mess every month. I still have my ovaries and im 35.

@Mamakdntply is the pain as bad? And did they place you on any hormone therapy?
