I also have pain during sex. I’ve tried pelvic floor PT and lots of medications. It’s tricky to manage but there are different positions that are helpful and I found that using THC coconut oil as lube is also helpful. My MCAS dr recommended that I try using children’s Benadryl in my vagina before sex. Endo isn’t a histamine problem (unless you also have MCAS), but it may be worth trying this approach with children’s NSAIDs

I agree with everything said above! Endo has caused me quite a bit of pain during sex, but it can be decreased slightly with plenty of extra foreplay (whatever you think you need, double it!) and finding what works best for you. If the pain becomes too much, don’t be afraid to speak up and try something else when you feel ready. And, of course, communication with your partner is key. It can still be very enjoyable, it just takes a bit more for us. :)

I do not believe it is in all cases. I have both and for me sex is painful- I also have had trauma which increased my discomfort. My friend with a tipped uterus has no issues. For me pelvic floor therapy helps immensely. So does having an understanding partner. Plus- sex isn’t just penetration and there are tons of ways for you to still enjoy yourself if penetration is painful
