Hi! I haven't been diagnosed with Endo for very long (only a year) but I've been dealing with it for years. I don't know very many people that have Endo, and so I was hoping to meet more people like me. šŸ˜€

Thank you all for sharing your stories! I have had 2 surgeries so far. The last one was in May 2022 where my Dr tried to excize as much of the Endo that she could, do adhesion prevention measures, appendectomy and she did a bilateral wedge resection to help with the PCOS. Tbh it hasn't really helped... So I'm not sure what I should do now.

The thing that I've put together on my own is that it's in our cells, I've had 9 surgeries and an appendectomy due to it spreading so far. Everyone is different but my mother had a hysterectomy and still suffers from daily pain. So basically when doctors do perform these surgeries I believe when we get relief or no further issues they've successfully removed all of the Endo cells. (I hope this makes sense) ā¤ļø

@BrokenLove my understanding is youā€™d have to get rid of the ovaries too in order to really help it.

Iā€™ve been diagnosed with it for 18 years. The treatment I have now seems to work.

@MNVikingfan What treatment are you using? We can't seem to find anything that works for me. I am having surgery about every 8 months now.
