Endo Strikes Again: My Frustration and Upset

After two excisions, my endo has officially come back, as diagnosed by an ultrasound. I’m frustrated and upset. I thought I was done with this! Just needed to rant.

That sounds infuriating to go thru. Im so sorry you’re going thru this and your feelings are so valid. My doctor wants me to do endo laparoscopic surgery soon and my biggest concern is going through all of that for no benefit. Gone thru multiple procedures, surgery, treatments in the last year for other issues and lot of pain and flaring for NO benefit and and the docs didn’t tell me that was a possibility or how bad it could be. I ended up being one of the rare ppl that got adverse reactions from nearly every one. I’m so skeptical now and finding it much harder now to have some hope for relief. I hope you can get some relief soon💕🙏🏻

good luck! Definitely go to an excision specialist! While it turned out that my endo wasn’t my only issue and it did come back, I don’t regret the decision at all

I'm so sorry. Endo really freaking sucks... to put it mildly. I'm scared because I'm still young (21) and I can tell it's slowly getting worse even with taking BC. I used to not get much pain between periods on BC, but slowly it's getting worse and more frequent. Now I wake up most days with pain. I want to have kids! I'm scared that if the pain is getting worse it means the scar tissue is spreading... Anyway, long story short, endo is horrible and I'm so sorry sister ❤️

endo is so frustrating, especially since doctors don't always listen to us about our pain. i finally had a hysterectomy a year ago because i just couldn't deal with it anymore, and i still have some pain

how much better did you feel after healing from a hysterectomy? I'm at the point of wanting to rip mine out from endo B's.

I'm so sorry my darling. I had the same issue within a month after my first surgery, and my ob has adamantly refused persuing a second op citing my medically induced amenorrhea. really hammers home how permanent this condition is. I just want my body to work properly but that is apparently too big an ask

I have no clue how quickly mine came back but my pain never really went away! I’m sorry your ob isn’t helpful, best of luck!!
