I have bipolar I. I was misdiagnosed several times and suffered the most agonizing depression for nearly 20 years before having a psychotic break and manic episode. My mania presented itself as grandiosity, hyper-sexuality, and disassociation. I got ptsd from a traumatic experience at work 5 years ago. One day at a time. I am a nazi about taking my meds. Been taking lithium since my diagnosis 7 years ago. Dry mouth sucks but is manageable. DT’s suck but, for me, improved eventually.
