EMDR with DID and PTSD - Experiences?

To those of you who have DID and PTSD.. Have you done EMDR? How has it affected you? My therapist said it's a bit of a risk to do EMDR with my DID, but we decided to give it a shot. I'm two sessions into the EMDR, and I'm noticing that I've began switching more. Specifically, regressing.

I have not. But I wanted to do it. But both therapists I wanted to do it with left me soon after me asking for it 😥

I haven't either. I'm not even diagnosed yet because we can't afford to be seen by anyone, and when we could afford it nobody specialized in dissociative disorders and I was on a fairly crap platform for trauma in general (betterhelp)
