So much therapy! And finding your people who love and accept you. And just time and experience, I think, especially if you’re young. It gets better if you can hang in there for a while. ❤️
It takes time. Learning to love yourself and being comfortable with who you are isn't easy. One thing that helped me was making a list of positive traits about myself. For example, I'm very considerate, I'm good at cooking, I do my best to focus on what my friend's interests and goals are, etc. Be honest with yourself. If there's one thing you aren't, it's useless. No one is truly useless, especially not you. And if your concern is what other people think, who cares? They don't dictate your life, you do. If someone is giving you crap for being yourself, they can piss off. Life's too short to be spent sucking up to others or giving in to their b.s. Take your time, discover yourself little by little, and just remind yourself how important and appreciated you are. You matter!
