My joints crack & pop with the slightest movement.. I’m to a point now where it’s embarrassing because it’s so loud.. when people are around me they hear it as well.. I guess that’s what makes it embarrassing. I’m not sure if fibromyalgia related (more than likely it is) but I just wish I could make it stop 😣

My knees and ankles are the worst I don't think it's fibromyalgia because they say it's not supposed to cause actual problems but just the pain .. it's so frustrating not knowing

If you are not under the care of a rheumatologist I think you should go see one. Or an Orthopedist. Sending hugs.

@GiGiBug rheumatologist says it’s fibromyalgia but i have to go back to an orthopedic I saw years ago because my back pain is worse 😣 I had a mri done in 2018 and it showed I had some mild degeneration so I need them to check that again in my neck/spine

@JustRachelle yes I would definitely do that. If you have fibromyalgia you need to be seeing a rheumatologist. If you have clicking and popping it could be arthritis or even osteoarthritis. A rheumatologist is a good dr to have. Your general dr can refer you

I crack and pop all the time. It's my osteoarthritis related to my fibromyalgia that causes it. I just make light of it and laugh at myself. I can't help it that I make noises so that's my way to cope with it.

@kem that’s what i try to do but I just don’t like it lol it’s more of a fake laugh it off

My back pops really loudly and even more so recently. When people hear it I usually either make a joke like I think I broke my back or make some comment about that felt good. Somehow acknowledging it helps me feel a bit less embarrassed by it.

@Psycho24 yea I can see how making a joke helps.. I just hate that happens

@JustRachelle yeah that's fair. It's OK to joke, but it gets old. And people also make dumb jokes or look at you like you're an alien which can be a bit much. It would be nice if it didn't happen.
