Effexor did not help me, either. And going off of it is a bitch! Brain sparks and zaps will be normal for a while. Wellbutrin seems to be good for me, as well as Prozac

well Prozac with Wellbutrin is amazing. I’m debating about trying to raise it a little bow know that I’ve been on both of them for a while.

I am on Prozac, a few months after I started taking it, I was feeling a little too depressed. I found out about the drug Bupropion (Wellbutrin) It just to the edge off my Prozac, so I didn’t feel so awful anymore.

Worsening mental and physical symptoms since starting about 6 months ago. I’m only still on it because I have no idea if it’s due to the Effexor or not and just really want something to help before i decide to stop trying meds again. But getting to that point since I’m barely functioning now.

Awww, im sorry. I personally found luck with Effexor, but I also found weight gain. It did work fairly fast for me personally, but again I felt really lucky. I hope you get some relief soon 💕

I’ve still been struggling with depression too. I’ve been on Effexor for almost three months. I’m also in a mood stabilizer and an antipsychotic, but the depression itself has not lifted yet.

i also just tried effexor for a few months and my psychiatrist just kept raising my dosage. my depression was no better and i had side effects like nausea and headaches everyday. i switched back to zoloft and it works better for me.
