In my experience nothing cures it. Only takes the edge off. So I have a handful of medications that do more or less the same thing: take the edge off. We rotate them so I’m not always taking the same thing, because tolerance and or decreased effectiveness. All of them are for inflammation reduction or muscle relaxation. Or nervous tension. However more than medication, I find cannabis to be helpful. It does so more reliably and I’ve been able to cut down my long list of medications by half because of it. In my experience, cannabis saved my life. I was suicidal because of my pain levels and this was able to take me down off the ledge and lead me to the couch for some snacks and tv instead. IV Ketamine had a similarly important effect. I don’t know a single person with fibro who doesn’t push themselves too hard. Take a real break! Take some time off. As much as it takes to feel a little more rested, and more energized. It takes as long as it takes!

For me Cymbalta helped mentally and also reduced the pain a bit.

I don’t think I can take Lyrica anyone … I think it’s messing up my memory. It helps so much with my nerve issues, but the trade offs seem impossible

I also take Cymbalta but it helped mentally much more than physically, I still suffer from fibro pain..
