I would re-evaluate having a relationship with that person. It doesn't seem healthy to be with someone who thinks you're behaviors that you can't change are toxic.

I personally don't think I could date someone that thinks that something that's a part of my identity and is unchanging is "toxic". And is so adamant about keeping that opinion. If you have to convince your bf you're a good person with good intentions, I feel like that's a serious problem. Hopefully he's not as bad as he sounds right now. I hope he is patient with you.
